About Us

SEDOS s.r.o. was established as a family business in 1992. Since our inception, we have specialised in professional seed treatment. We are the only company in Slovakia offering seed pelleting (coating) and the production of small-consumer packaging with specially treated seeds. Furthermore, we manufacture water-soluble film, which serves as a seed carrier for our unique seed tapes – a global innovation. Our products are well-established in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine. We have expanded our portfolio to include the production of liquid and specialised controlled-release coated fertilisers. The company’s expertise is driven by a team led by graduates of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
